Lara in Colo
They put the three dozen decorated eggs on the top shelf of the refrigerator last night :( No biggie (only three dollars worth) but I was looking forward to egg salad sandwiches
Sara in AZ
Probably, but their gross. I've had that happen. 😢 So sorry!
KungFuPanda
No. Have you tried to peel one? I did that at a condo recently. The fridge was too cold and froze my eggs. I peeled one and found it inedible. It was a dried out, shriveled looking rock of rubber.
KarenNC
You may want to check the yolks to see if they are usable even if the whites aren't, since they'll have less water content.
gardenmom5
Edible and palatable are two different things.
Kathryn
How frozen? That happened here last week, but apparently all it did was make a layer of ice between the shell and egg, so I left them out for 10 minutes and then they were very easy to peel and the insides were fine. However, it's happened before and they were thoroughly frozen and had to be discarded.
Lara in Colo
Well they ate a couple and didn't spit them out--- when I make egg salad tomorrow I will check each one--- as I recall-- they get "mealy" when they are frozen. I don't know if all were frozen or even frozen all the way through.
