goldberry
I saw this and really liked it, supposedly it will grind nuts and other things with the drink. I don't like it only making one at a time though, at a minimum I would want two, and that seems like a lot of hassle. So I checked the Blendtec and Vitamix - holy cow! You people are really paying $400 for a blender! Actually, I probably would but I just don't have it. Does anyone have the Nutribullet? The one cup looks pretty large, might it make enough for two? kewb
I don't have the nutribullet but I did finally take the plunge and bought a vitamix. I do not regret the decision at all. It may be my most used kitchen appliance.
73349
I received the Nutribullet as a gift & I'm very happy with it. It makes enough for two medium or three small (maybe 5- or 6-oz.) servings. The cup is dishwasher-safe, so cleanup is easier than with a regular blender.
Melissa in New York
I LOVE my Nutribullet. My husband got me this for Christmas of 2012 and it has helped tremendously in my health turnabout. I have autoimmune issues and pouring good nutrition into my body has been a godsend. I attribute some (a lot?) to the Nutribullet. I can't eat much in one sitting so swallowing my meals makes it easier. The one negative I have is that the machine was extremely LOUD. I did some research and the folks behind the Bullet redesigned the machine. I returned mine and bought a new version. It's still loud but blender-loud. You won't have to run it very long, anyhow...in fact, you're not supposed to. You also have to be very careful not to go beyond the Max line on the cups. Otherwise, there is not enough room for the machine to do its whirling around of ingredients and liquid. It'll spill over into the motor and cause problems. As with anything, a learning curve is always a hassle. But once you know that all you have to do is throw some veggies, fruit, nuts, etc, it can become very simple. Recipes are included and there are a jillion recipes on the internet, as well as books and magazines. As for cup sizes, there are 2. The large is good for one LARGE serving or 2 smaller ones. It all depends upon how much your stomach will hold. Clean up is super duper easy! If you decide to get one, buy it at Bed/Bath&Beyond. Use your 20% coupon (there's always one on the internet if you're not receiving them in snail mail) and if there is any issue, returns are not a hassle. As I said, I love my Nutribullet. It's made a huge impact in my life.
Jeannie in NJ
we have a nutribullet and everyone in the house uses it every day. It grinds up everything really well. Like others have said, you can't beat the cleanup.
lovemykids
I love the Nutribullet! Best points- the ease of use (including cleanup), and the fact that you get all of the nutrition from the fruit or veggie (there is no waste). You can make enough for two people in the large cup. But you can also buy extra cups (they are inexpensive) if you like. That way you can make one after the other easily and quickly. We use ours every day as well. It’s a great way to get things like kale into a kid’s diet (like in a blueberry, banana, and kale smoothie) without them even knowing it. I also feel better physically when using it to drink my veggies with my flax or chia seeds!
school17777
There is a new vitamix coming out in April that seems really neat because you can make a single size smoothie or a regular one.
