Wordsmith
I'm trying a new approach, augmenting my kids' usual curriculum with learning games- sort of sneak the learning in when they least expect it :P So, what sort of games would you guys recommend for my 8 yr old ds? He's got math and reading down quite well, I'm more thinking history and geography. Thanks!

pitterpatter
GeoPuzzles Professor Noggin has some history trivia cards, but I haven't seen them in person. Sleeping Queens is math, but it's popular. Math Dice too.

OneStepAtATime
If you want a fantastic list of resources for math, go to soror's relaxed math post on the General Education board. It is chalk full of terrific resources for sneaking educational math in.
