Ausmumof3
There are some fiction stories of Bindi Irwin from Australia zoo about animal rescue that you can get on cd that feature animal facts. There is also an app for iPad called reading rainbow where you can download books and have them read to your kids. There are some national geographic science books in it. The first six books are free after that it is subscription based . So far we have only used the free ones but when we do our road trip next year I will probably subscribe before we leave. Kerileanne99
I have a dd who absolutely loves audiobooks, and especially non-fiction stories about science. Here are three of her favorites: Great Hall Productions- Gallileo and the Star Gazers This was one of her first and she still enjoys it...of course, anything read by Jim Weiss is pretty much gold in this house:) http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/1882513460/ref=mp_s_a_1_sc_1?qid=1385758695&sr=8-1-spell&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70 There are two sets done by Daxos Junior Classics which are great as well. 1) Great Scientists and their Discoveries http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/9626344407/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?keywords=scientists%20and%20their%20discoveries&qid=1385758140&ref_=sr_1_1_title_0_main&sr=8-1 2) Famous Inventors and their Inventions http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/9626344199/ref=pd_aw_sbs_2?pi=SL500_SS115 There are others in the line that are good, but these are her favorites!
