bettyandbob Posted October 6, 2013 Share Posted October 6, 2013 I liked that book and it's sequel. I can't remember exact content. I think the main character is about 12. I think there is some boy-girl stuff. I wouldn't suggest it to an eight year old, but if he chose it on his own I wouldn't stop him. Because the book deals with having a special needs sibling it is a book I did suggest to my older ds and dd. it was a good way to discuss issues with their brother. If it had been published when my kids were younger I might have had my oldest read it at 8, but that's only because of needs in our family specifically.
