Things are more fun for me when certain people cannot PM me. At a less stressful time in my life it was easier to blow them off.

You wouldn't know that it was blocked but you would know that they hadn't read it. Once you click on the message, on the left under their avatar, it tells you when it was read if at all.

I can't understand the idea of sending someone a nasty PM. It seems rude and sneaky. It feels like someone is playing nicely in front of others, and then slinking off to do her dirty work in private. :glare:

 

If something like that happened to me, I would block the person, too.
