Jenny in Florida
Watching the video (made up of home movies from the mid-1950s), but reading the notes here is really interesting: http://www.disneyhistoryinstitute.com/2013/07/disneyland-voce-1955.html

Jenny in Florida
The notes are the best part!!!! History of women's underwear? Selling bras?! I agree! I grew up in Southern California and, hence, going to Disneyland. There were some things in the video that sparked intense nostaligia for me (specifically, the Casey Jr. train). But the intimate apparel store was gone before my time. I'm almost sorry I missed it.
JessReplanted
That's so interesting! It's amazing how sparse the crowd was, and I love how dressy all of the people looked.
Lori D.
Charming video! Thanks for sharing. I'm smiling, too! :) My first visit was as a small child, around 1970. I've been back about a dozen times over the years since then, and I love seeing how it stays the same AND changes. :)
StaceyinLA
Well I have never been to Disneyland, but I can remember the first time I went to WDW, when there was only the Magic Kingdom. My have things changed!! This video and the comments are really awesome to see. I think I'm going to have to venture to Disneyland at least once in my life!
