melissad2
How do I get her down? I can't get the ladder til dh gets home in a couple of hours! I put out tuna in hopes she would be enticed to let go but nope she's been hanging up there for about 2 hrs now!
kewb
In my experience you can not entice the cat to come down. It will, however, come down when it is ready.
Dandelion
Our cats have done that before. They always came down on their own after a few hours. Unless she's in danger (from other animals in the area, etc.), you should be fine leaving her in the tree until your DH gets home.
ravinlunachick
Relax. Have you ever seen a cat skeleton in a tree? :) IME, you can't make a cat do anything it didn't already decide to do.

DianeW88
She'll come down when she's ready. Don't worry about it. If your dh climbs a ladder and tries to get her, she will either jump before he can grab her, or shred the living daylights out of him if he does get hold of her. Best to let her decide to come down on her own.
bcnlvr
What PPs said. Mine was stuck up in a tree for three hours. Came down and into the house when she was ready.
Mandylubug
She will come down eventually.. Funny story though, growing up our cat was up a tree next to my parents bedroom window and my Dad had to get up at 3am for work. He was NOT happy about all the loud meowing and decided to take matters into his own hands. He grabbed the garden hose and soaked our cat. It worked, he was out immediately after the trauma of being soaked!
melissad2
He got her down. He sort of pushed her out with a really long stick. She safe and sound and back in the house where she belongs :)
Catwoman
Glad to hear that she's fine and that she's back in the house! :)
