KIN Posted July 31, 2008 Share Posted July 31, 2008 The kids and I were in the car, leaving a store and I noticed a horse walking across the road. The horse had a lead rope dragging along behind him, and no person anywhere around! I noticed the horse at the same time an old (really old!) Amish man in a buggy did. We both got out of our respective vehicles and started toward the horse. I walked along side him and finally just reached out and touched him. He jumped and then totally stopped. I reached out, grabbed the lead rope and walked back to it's owner (now trying to get to the horse too). It doesn't sound like a big deal, but I'm not familiar with regular size horses (we had a mini for a while).
