I started that recent thread.

After much experimentation, we have settled on a berry blend as our favorite. We use 1 cup kale (no stems), 1 cup spinach, 1 carrot, 1 banana, 1 cup frozen blueberries, and 1 cup whatever other berry or fruit we have on hand.

I have been doing green smoothies for about 6 months but mine don't turn out green becUSE Inuse so much frozen fruit I guess. I use 1 apple, 1 pear, about 1inch fresh ginger, spinach(about handful or two) and some other green-maybe nappa cabbage, kale. I grind this up with water until smooth. Then I put in about 2 cups semi-frozen mixed fruit. Any fruit would work but I like raspberries, blueberries, blackberries blend. Great tasting and good for any inflammation in the body.

I made a great one this morning. So much stuff in it and it fits in the shaker cup in my hand!

8 oz. apple juice, 8 oz. pear juice (these are fresh squeezed- no added anything) 1 tbsp. chia seed, 1 tbsp. hemp seed, 1 tbsp. flax seed, 1 pkt. organic superfood powder, handfuls of collard greens, kale, parsley, and chard, 1 chopped carrot, 2 bananas, 5 strawberries, handfuls of raspberries and blackberries, 1/2 cup plain yogurt, 1 kiwi, 1/2 avocado, 2 apples and a handful of goji berries. All organic and all fresh.

Yum!!!
