TheBugs
I don't know a lot about yoga myself, but on a recent trip to a botanical garden my son decided he just had to spend the money grandma gave him on this yoga game. http://www.theyogagarden.com/ You are basically moving your game piece around the board and when you land on a certain spot you pick up a card and everyone does the pose. The game is collaborative and there is no winner. We all work together to make a garden. My kids enjoy it.
SarahW
My suggestion is to start with a very easy DVD. Don't try anything complicated, and do not even attempt inversions, without a qualified instructor. Yoga can be dangerous.
MeaganS
I love, love, love the Cosmic Kids videos on YouTube. They have 5 or so now but they are making more. They also sell them as a DVD. They tell stories and the yoga is part of the motions. It is a great intro to yoga. http://www.youtube.com/user/CosmicKidsYoga

Yoga can be dangerous. I see somebody read that essay that was floating around the internet awhile back... Yes, yoga can be dangerous. So can jogging. So can walking. Or moving from a sitting to a standing position. But it's a good deal safer than many forms of exercise.
