Brilliant
Azure Standard. You have to create an account (it's free) to see prices. You can order individually but you'll have to pay for shipping. If you order for delivery at a group drop-off once a month, shipping is free. I don't know how to find a drop-off - a friend told me about ours!
MercyA
Amazon! Also, for organic and/or natural kids' snacks, diapers.com tends to have good prices.
jessicamcc
I'm the coordinator for an online food co-op. www.wholeshare .com But, we are only in NY,PA,NJ Conn. and Mass. Another option is www.vitacost.com, they ship directly to your house. I think they have free shipping if you spend $49.
caroljenn
I buy organic green powders and bars from Amazing Grass. They have great stuff, and I think you get 10% off and free shipping if you enroll in a monthly-ship program. I have bought from Amazon too. They are so easy. Good luck! lattedrinker
I use Amazon, although you should always do some price comparisons. Some things are great deals, others are priced so unrealistically high.
Durriyyah
I love amazon for a lot of things, but yeah, check to make sure their prices are on point. I would say 9 times out of 10 I am fine with the prices they have, and add in they ship it to you? Bonus! I buy some staple gluten free items from Amazon, and just started a dishwasher detergent on my Subscribe and Save, too.
indigomama
We just started Azure Standard. It was some huge savings in certain Organic products. The best deals are of course buying in bulk. Check out their website to see if they deliver to groups by you. http://www.azurestandard.com/ Also, Costco, how I wish we still had one close by, has organic products at great prices. And Amazon. tearose
Amazon, if like pp have said, you compare the prices. Even better if you can get a subscribe and save price for any staples. Or I order with subscribe and save and then immediately cancel future shipments.
flmom
I use Amazon, but always check the prices. I have also been pleased with ordering from World Pantry (Nature's Path products). If you have a Target with an expanded grocery section or a Super Target nearby, go have a look. They have better organic prices than the supermarkets where I live and most of the time beat the prices at the natural foods markets. I can empathize on the Whole Foods situation - the nearest two to me are each about an hour and 20 minutes away (one way).
mandymom
You still have to pick it up, but if Bountiful Baskets co-op has a pick up location near you, it's a great option for produce (and a few other things here and there). They offer conventional as well as organic baskets of fruits and veggies at what I consider really good prices. www.bountifulbaskets.org
CandaceC
We are using Azure Standard, amazon, and Aldi. The closest Aldi is nearly an hour away, but we are going monthly and stocking up.

jessicamcc
What about this? http://www.crownofma...com/default.asp My best friend lives in Maine. I'm going to pass this onto her- thank you!!! I know she has had some success with organic at BJ's.
Liz CA
Has anyone mentioned "Green Polka Dot Box?" There is a membership fee. Shipping is free if you order more than $75 worth per shipment. We order once a month. Used to be with Azure but since we moved there is no drop off near us anymore. Amazon has some organic items. You probably need to do your research first to know what you are looking for specifically.
crazyforlatin
I just got in the mail an ad for a new online organic store, vine.com. I think if you contact them as a first-time customer, they may send you a 25% coupon on your first order. Free shipping on $49 or more. I happen to live near a bunch of places that sell organic foods, but I still buy some products online.
welovetoread
I love green polka dot box. I wish there was a way for me to share what we order in a month etc. Hey, maybe I can do a screen shot of our basket etc and then you can compare with other online places. Liz CA
Green Polka Dot box looks intriguing. Have you noticed a savings with it? Yes, I have. We order all staples for the month through them. This means (for us) rice, quinoa, flour, olive oil and then we add a few extras in here and there. I have always been happy with the products. I think you can preview their selection before committing to anything.
