SunnyDays
Happy Winter Solstice, to those who celebrate it as your winter holiday. :) We don't technically celebrate the Solstice, but I love the idea that the days will now get longer again, and the thought of our long distant ancestors having the same longing for the return of the sun!! May everyone have a wonderful day! (You know, if the whole end of the world thing doesn't materialize...)

amo_mea_filiis.
Mine opened presents this morning. :-) Something funny i did to dd- Last night i had her make some underwear, socks, and a bra out of felt. This morning when she opened a box, it contained the felt stuff that she made! Lol. Her face was great. She tried to look happy. It only took her a few second to realize that each piece had a gift card taped to the back. Then she was really happy. :)

Greenmama2
Just past Summer Solstice here. My littles open their presents on solstice morning. I'm happy the days are getting shorter! My six year old has trouble getting to sleep any less than two hours after sunset so I'm looking forward to her sleeping at a more reasonable hour.
