mlgbug
anyone feel like this are good? I had someone get one for my son for his Christmas present, he is getting the leapfrog ExplorerGS. He is very into video games, loves the lego ones on the xbox, and really is a gamer. He is 5. I was hoping this would give him an educational video game outlet..... games are expensive!!! I.Dup.
My kids just have the Leapster2 and they seem most popular among the 3/4/5 crowd, before they are really old enough to play the Wii.
A.Balaban
My son is getting one of these for Christmas, too. He's never played it before.
mama2cntrykids
My dd6 is getting one for Christmas. She also has the original one that is ok, but an upgrade was needed. She enjoys her original, so I know she'll REALLY like this one, so much nicer!
Farrar
My kids really liked them when they were 4 and 5. By the time they were 6 yo, they had kind of grown out of them and we handed them down to someone else before they turned 7 yo.
blondeviolin
The games for the Explorer are usually geared toward older kid skills. The quality of the Explorer is much better too. Check Amazon for games. Most are usually cheaper and there are few on sale even now.
