Dave Ramsey for kids?

I would like to start my 6yo dd with the Dave Ramsey system for kids. If you have any of the kids items, what did you get? There is a deal on this set, but then I would still need to buy Financial Peace Junior. Wondering if the books and audio cd's are worth getting or if I should just get FPJ. Anyone have experience with these and can voice an opinion?

I am going to respond because no one else has. I think the books are the ones that were given with Chick-fil-a kids meals 6 or so years ago. The red racer one looks familiar and I know they were Dave Ramsey. We actually bought some too. They were good. Well presented and engaging. I am sorry I can't remember more. I have never used the other material. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Would you care to be more specific? I really don't want to waste money. Thanks!

The activity book is mostly coloring. There are some calculations, but they pretty much revolve around the concept of pay-per-chore. I'm personally not a fan of pay-per-chore, because I have kids who will decide they don't need any more money, and I will be stuck having to scoop kitty litter!

The "lessons" are cutesy stories. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but they're not big, in-depth, captivating lessons or anything, lol.

The parents guide is completely unnecessary for any homeschooling parent who has read a DR book. If you teach your kids already, and you get the gist of DR, you know what to do with the stuff.

The rest is a wipe-off chore chart, stickers, plastic save/give/spend envelopes, magnets, a little calculator, and crayons. They ARE rather cute, but I'm glad I only bought one box before purchasing one for each child. They aren't worth the price on their own, imo. And, again, the chore chart has a line for the monetary value of each chore.

It does include the Battle of the Chores audiobook, but I haven't actually listened to it yet. Now that I pulled the box out :) , I'll keep that out so I can give it a go soon.
