HappyGrace
I just read and LOVED this book-it is seriously life-changing. It is fiction, but it is about the persecuted church in China and really gets you thinking about what's important. I can't tell you how much it is affecting me-totally rejuvenated my walk with the Lord. The book is "Safely Home" by Randy Alcorn. I would say there were a few things I had doctrinal quibbles over, but they were put in for effect (like the main character's ancestors watching him from Heaven-but it was respectful and very well done.) I can't recommend it highly enough!!!!!!
mom2hunangirls
Love that book!!! It's one of the ones I bought several copies of and gave away. We are blessed to have a Chinese godmother who is nearly identical to liQuan. It's a fictional story, but very much based on real people. :) The last time she came to America I held her hand-written copy of the book of John. I couldn't read a word/character...but I wept as I held it. I miss her so much.

JumpyTheFrog
I hardly ever cry during movies or books, but that book made me cry. It was one of the best books I've ever read.
