HollyDay
Anyone have a crockpot mac and cheese recipe to share??
Susan C.
I got another one from here that is really good. It is quick on the stove top. Boil noodles, drain, 1 T. butter for every 2-3 servings, a little milk or cream, parm. cheese, and a few eggs beaten and added last.
Homemama2
here is one: http://tipgarden.blogspot.com/2011/09/one-pot-mac-and-cheese.html We like it but it might not need to cook as long as the recipe says, depending on how fast your crockpot cooks. I think it was all finished in 2 1/2 to 3 hrs in my crockpot. ETA: The nice thing about this recipe is you don't have to cook the noodles-just throw it all in the crockpot. Clear Creek
Here is the one I use. I don't use a crockpot liner, I just spray it with Pam really well before adding the ingredients. If you double the recipe it will still cook in the same amount of time.

This is very similar to the one we use except our version calls for cooked noodles. I'll have to try this one!

Bassoonaroo
Oh wow, that's what's for lunch -- crock pot m&c and some raw veggies. Here's the recipe: Slightly undercook 12 oz. macaroni or other small pasta. Drain. Heavily butter your 4 quart or so crockpot. Mix in the crockpot: The cooked pasta 1 can (12 oz or so) evaporated milk 3/4 c. milk 1 T olive oil (I'm guessing you can skip this) salt and pepper to taste 3 c. shredded cheese, pick your favorite. Today I used 1 cup pepper jack and 2 c. cheddar. 2.5 to 3.5 hours on low, stirring every half hour or so. It's basic but it works.
