LittleIzumi
These look great for my VSL dd. I would add other books & activities of course, but they look great. Has anyone used them? (I also want to use Gombrich's Little History--Illustrated, and All Through the Ages, and maybe DK's The History Book, plus lots of other living books and activities. Luckily world history doesn't start until 2013-2014!) EmilyK
I hadn't focused on these as being a series. We have the one with the dinosaur on the front, but we haven't really used it. I'll see if I can locate it. On amazon, it looks like a lot of them are available cheaply used. If I hadn't promised to stop buying books for a while, I would get some of the other ones. Arcadia
Bumping. My boys are enjoying the The Beginning Voyages Through Time book. I borrowed from the library. There is a review here of the Greece and Rome book as well. http://forums.welltr...s-through-time/
Laura Corin
Peter Ackroyd is a good writer - I've read some of his books for adults. I haven't seen the works for children. Laura
Roadrunner
No, but Gombrich's Little History is wonderful. We read it over and over again here.
