Abbeygurl4
Does anyone still use this? I have an older set that I got for my older dc (now in college). I was thinking of using it with my 9 yo dd. If you've used it how have you incorporated it into your science curriculum?
Lara in Colo
I don't have an answer, but I did just order it from Sonlight for their science F program.
Lots of boys
We have it too but once I got it I found it was too advanced for us right now and I plan to use it in a few years. I think it looks great though!
ErinD
We have it. We sing along with it in the car! The 4 year old has no clue what most of it means, but he sings along with the rest of us anyway. :)

Maybe you could tell me how SL uses it when you get the Science IG? :001_smile:
frugalmama
We plan on using it - we use the older {1999 or around there} versions of the SL science IG's and they use it.
Dinsfamily
We're using portions of it this year when it fits in with what we're studying. Ds6 will just do the songs but I think I'll have ds8 do the workbook too.
KAM
I am using it with an 11 and 9 y.o, with Sonlight Core D science. Every couple weeks a song or two is listed in the IG schedule, usually linking up with something they've been reading about. The text of the teacher book is pretty advanced. I hand them the workbooks while we listen. My 11 y.o does the fill in the blank lyric page and my 9 y.o. just listens. They like it, the songs are very catchy and fun. Mommyfaithe
I used it this year with my 13 Yo science hating/ music loving dd. It was fun! The boys learned all the songs....and the terminology. That was cool! Dd used Kingfisher Science encyclopedia and wrote reports and drew diagrams ( she is an amazing artist and this part was the fun part for her,) on each section. She also did research on each topic...and wrote up notebook pages ala WTM. I basically used LLS A's a spine....and fleshed it out with note booking pages and other research/writing assignments. MrsMe
What is this? I saw it on Sonlight's site, but don't understand what it is. O.T. but how time consuming is your Sonlight Science?
