Onceuponatime
We will be there on a weekday in June with 5 adults and 4 kids. Where are good places to stop for lunch? Not too pricey please. Thanks.

hana
http://www.faneuilhallmarketplace.com/?q=restaurants unless you are the kind of person who melts down when you have too many choices.;) Yes, that's absolutely THE place to go. That said, a stop in Mike's Pastries is almost as essential.

Harriet Vane
Also have Italian food. I think it's the north side??? There is a neighborhood that is rife with authentic Italian. We wandered into a place randomly and had the most incredible pizza and other food at a very reasonable price. (Kids had pizza, adults had veal and other stuff.) It's cheaper and less crowded to do this at lunch time.

I second the suggestion for Mike's Pastries; I think that was the place where we got the amazing cannoli. :) We spent our first two years of married life in Boston -- such a fun city! Renthead Mommy
We are there right now. We did the Quincy Market/ faneui hall yesterday and in previous trips. It is okay. Think higher end food court. I would skip that and go across the street to Union Oyster House or some where around there. It was excellent and very reasonablly priced. So good!! UnionJack
We LOVE the chicken salad sandwiches at Al's on State Street (a block up from Faneuil Hall). So so so good and ridiculously inexpensive.
