Shellydon
Bibilioplan is the only thing I can find that schedules literature choices with MOH1. Anything else I am missing? Thanks!
Nakia
I could be wrong, but I think MOH itself has suggestions for extra reading. Ignore me if that is incorrect. :D
Mandy in TN
MOH1 is the spine for WP's QAW. You could see what they suggest. HTH- Mandy

Shellydon
There is also Illuminations by Bright Ideas Press (same publisher as MOH) I've looked at this, but can't quite get a handle on exactly what it involves.
Sevilla
Are you just looking for book titles to correlate with MOH1? Or something else?
Shellydon
Are you just looking for book titles to correlate with MOH1? Or something else? I would love to find something like Sonlight's IG for MOH.
MerryAtHope
I've looked at this, but can't quite get a handle on exactly what it involves. It's a complete curriculum--it schedules out lit. choices (both for readers and for read-alouds for 3rd-8th grade), science, LA...I don't think it has math, but pretty much everything else if you want it. I think you can also purchase some of the lit guides separately. Last time I looked at the site, you could download an overview brochure that showed the list of books they use, and you can also download samples of the IG. The IG is all electronic, and if you watch the video that describes it, you can see how easy it is to customize it to your needs. I've always used Sonlight and adapted that around MOH, and didn't need/want all the science & LA choices, so I've never done Illuminations, but I've used several of their book choices & have liked them. Here's my listing of books by week that I used with MOH (combined mainly with Sonlight and with some other selections like WP and Illuminations). By the way, Winter Promise schedules MOH 1 and 2 (but they change up the order iirc). That's another you could look at. Merry :-)
MerryAtHope
Also, are you on the MOH email loops? There are tons of schedules in the file sections there.
SnMomof7
You can also get JUST the Illuminations lit guides if you want them (from what I understand).

I love the Veritas Press choices, so I will be adding many of those. Thank you.

prairiegirl40
Have you checked out this? http://www.guesthollow.com/homeschool/history/ancient/books.html
Shellydon
Have you checked out this? http://www.guesthollow.com/homeschool/history/ancient/books.html No, I hadn't seen that. Thank you. That might be a good template for me to print and I can write in the books for my older child.
cjgrubbs
Mystery of History has book selection lists for every lesson. You can possibly read them all but I search through them during the summer and make a note of which ones my library have and then make a rough schedule for each of my kids. Then I add in the holes with out lit readings or look to purchase recommended books that my library didn't have.
