  1. Quick question about Saxon Math 2 Fact Cards. I have an extra unopened set that came with workbooks, and I was wondering if anyone can tell me if these included addition and subtraction or are they just multiplication and division? Thanks!
  2. We are using ACE Biology this year along with the DVDs. It's going really well for us, and this particular child usually has a hard time keeping up with science. The dvds are dated, but she is doing well with it. I only purchased the first three dvds used to try it out, but I will be purchasing the rest of the dvds.
  3. I did see the sample and saw how it was set up like AHL lit suppl. I've read that it's pretty light on lit analysis, so maybe that is why it's a better fit for my dd at this time. If I stick with MFW I think their progression would be a good thing for her. Jennifer I was able to see all the samples and what what available, but it was pretty pricey for just one guide. I guess MFW's price for three guides plus the extras is a pretty good deal!
  4. Thank you! That helps me see where the next guide is going.
  5. I started my dd off this year with another curriculum that uses BJU Literature. It was not a good fit. I ordered MFW and restarted after Thanksgiving. She is doing so much better with MFW and is really enjoying the Ancient Literature Supplement book. Does this type of literature study continue on in WHL? Mainly I a asking this because I do not see a supplement book in the set for WHL, so I am wondering how this is handled. Thank you!
  6. My husband allotted his GI bill to our kids. We were able to divide it up among the four and our oldest used his portion last year. He was already enrolled at a college and my husband just had to go into his account and start it. I don't remember what all was involved with that, but we did not have to get a GED. All my son ever had was the diploma and transcripts we issued.
  7. We use Write at Home and have been happy with them. I haven't used any others, though!
  8. Lori, Heart of Dakota uses BJU Fundamentals of Lit and additional books in World Geography. I was kind of unsure about the books HOD uses along with BJU Fundamentals. What books would you suggest we sub in for HOD lit list? Here is the link to the books they use- Thanks, Jennifer
  9. Oops, I didn't see you had considered Biblioplan. You can pick and choose what to use with Biblioplan, and it is only scheduled three times per week.
  10. Hi Roanna, I'm in Minot. You can PM me or post here your questions!
