shukriyya
I've been looking at GH for American history next year. Is it pretty organized, well laid out and easy to implement? Likes, dislikes? Did your kids enjoy it?

TundraAcademy
We've used it and really enjoyed it. She has done a great job organizing and pulling together links, crafts, etc. The only problem we found was that we couldn't do it all! What a blessing to have something so thorough and free! Princess Peach
We sort of used it when what I had planned (and paid for - ugh!) fell through. If you need a schedule where everything is pulled together for you, but allows the flexibility to pick and choose which things to do, I think you'll like it. Plus, you can't beat the price! :D
creekster519
I have been looking at it too. Would love to hear more opinions!
cjgrubbs
Can you coordinate olders and youngers easily? 7th grade, 4th grade, and 1st grade?
Aurelia
We're using parts of it, and like it! The books are well-chosen, and although we don't have time to do everything, what we have done has been enjoyed.
Joyofsixreboot
We used it last year and enjoyed it. I used it as buffet and picked from it. I'm considering using some of the science next year.
truebluexf
How about the 2nd year of it too? I'm really interested in that one.
shukriyya
Thanks, ladies. It seems like everyone has enjoyed it. It looks pretty conducive to following rabbit trails as well which works well for history.
Spetzi
We used it...our version, of course. There are many great book choices and it helped me make some good choices. I just used our library and it had most of GH selections. It's so nice that it's free!
