Chrysalis Academy
Anybody use these books? How do you like them? Do they add a great deal over and above what you've been able to accomplish via Socratic discussion/WTM-style literary analysis discussions for Logic Stage kids? Anything else you can tell me about them? TIA!
Woodland Mist Academy
The 5th/6th grade book sat on my shelf for so long that I finally sold it. I don't remember the details. It just never struck me as worth the time to try to implement I guess.

Spetzi
I'm not the only one! I bought it with high hopes. I was not impressed with the questions or the stories themselves. It was all fine, but nothing special, imo.
kalanamak
I have the first one. I think it is overpriced.
3Blessings
I love the idea, certainly am going to try it . . . hate the price. I am so excited to work through this. I'll have to let people know how it goes. OP, maybe you can let others know if you try it, too!
unity
Count me with the folks who bought but never really used it--but I have three levels! The literature selection is all over the map---some classics that I would be happy to have my child read, but at least 1/3 or more are "unknown" books published by Royal Fireworks Press. I haven't actually read any of these books, but I'm not inclined to spend money on them since I have access to so many great books that I know are worth the time. Since I'm not willing to buy the RFP books, it's hard to use Suppose the Wolf... as a curriculum guide. We're not working through it systematically, so the only way I could use it would be to remember when a book we've used was covered in Suppose the Wolf. I don't have that good a memory. :tongue_smilie:
