caitlinsmom
I am trying to put together our read aloud list for 1st grade but there are just so many good books I can narrow it down. Does anyone have a list handy that they used/use?
Dawn E
We used a lot of Sonlight read-aloud recommendations along with some others. Here were our most successful ones: Tale of Despereaux and The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo The Borrowers Charlotte's Web The Little House series
caitlinsmom
We have only read 1 of DiCamillo, Winn Dixie. I will put those on the list. Any other suggestions
Pata
I would also reccommend looking at Sonlight's list. Also, how about... The Trumpet of the Swan James and the Giant Peach Paddington Series Wonderful Wizard of Oz Just a few off the top of my head, hope it helps!
