acurtis75
I have sinus and allergy issues and for the last several years they have gotten worse the days leading cup to my cycle. Sometimes it's minor, other times my lymph nodes really hurt and my throat gets sore. I think my immune system must we weaker for some reason during that time. Cheryl in NM
No answer for you, but this has always happened to me as well. The doctors always told me there was no correlation, but it was too predictable. What's even weirder is that since I've had my hysterectomy (ovaries taken out as well as uterus) I still get this symptom monthly. Also, if I mess up my hormones (too much progesterone) I have this symptom.
Quad Shot Academy
My lymph nodes used to bother me frequently. I accidentally found out it was acid reflux. If I take meds, they don't feel swollen. I used to constantly think I was fighting off illness! Any chance you are changing your diet those days, maybe adding in more chocolate? ;)

Quad Shot Academy
we are/have been grain-free and I don't have acid reflux...I'm thinking it is related to my cycle, hormones and/or perhaps thyroid, just wondering what it may be "saying" or if anyone else had this experience and found out the "why". I had no idea I had acid reflux either. It never felt like anything other than sore tonsils. I hope you figure out what is causing it! :grouphug:
TravelingChris
I have RA and Sjogren's. My symptoms are always worse before my cycle and right at the beginning of it. I think many autoimmune disease symptoms are partially dependent on hormones. Another reason why I am hoping that menopause finally arrives soon.
