Stellalarella
Styes on the eye lids. Big, painful, nasty. 3rd one in six weeks. Yep, I know about moist heat, ibuprofen, not spreading bacteria by reusing washcloths. I do use Azasite for dry eye (which is an antibiotic that is prescribed to treat dry eye. Help!!! Mrs Mungo
Did you replace your eye makeup (especially eyeliner and mascara) and/or contacts?
Stellalarella
I threw away $90 worth of new mineral makeup. My birthday present. So not only do I have big styes on my eye, but I also have no makeup.
Onceuponatime
When I had a chalazion a few years ago, the doc said to wash my eyelids regularly with baby shampoo. Maybe that would help.

Karen in CO
you could have blepharitis. It is basically oily eyelids. It is a big cause for styes and ingrown eyelashes and eyelash loss. Go to an eye doctor and ask about your eyelids. Wash them daily with baby shampoo and a clean washcloth. There are also disposable eyelid cleansing cloths you can buy. Stellalarella
I will give the baby shampoo a shot. Thanks!
Amy in TX
When my dd had a stye, in addition to baby shampoo, the ped. recommended hot soaks using tea bags. You get the moist heat in a perfect size and shape, plus all the antioxidants from the tea. Hope you get relief soon,

Bootsie
My doctor told me about a trick an elderly patient taught him for warm compresses--small, warm potatoes; they fit in the eye socket well and stay warm for much longer than a wet cloth. I would see my eye doctor. I would be concerned that the continuous use of antibiotic drops had compromised my eye's ability to fight off infections naturally. TammyinTN
When my dh had them his doctor said to put tea tree oil on a q-tip at bedtime and gently clean the affected area. It worked very well.
