blessedmom4god
Enjoy your new toy! I love mine! I am loving the iPad. I thought with a smartphone you really wouldn't have much use for one....wrong. It could totally change the way one homeschools. Being able to write on pdfs is allowing me to use more of the free worksheets on the web and its the perfect size for reading. I would buy one for each of the kids if a could ;)

RegGuheert
Thanks! Downloading! For reference, here is the description in the App Store: Toontastic
RegGuheert
I see there are a LOT of $0.99 in-app character purchases available in this thing. If the kids start bugging me to buy this-or-that character, this one will be deleted. Hopefully they will be able to make interesting cartoons without buying anything else. It's also pretty big. 136mb I think. I'm going to play with it first to see if it's worth keeping before I let dd look at it.
ashfern
Thanks it looks really neat. I don't have an ipad (yet). :D
Word Nerd
Thank you for the tip! My girls have been taking turns making stories and love this app. I wish there were a way to turn down the volume on the music, as it tends to overpower the storytelling, but other than that I think it's a great program. My kids haven't even noticed the Toon Store (or whatever it's called) yet. You can also draw your own scenes and characters, and they've been doing that too.
