AuntieM
Last night I couldn't sleep, battling an allergy earache. So I watched this on Netflix streaming. It was funny! It's a four part BBC series, but on Netflix they're bundled as one long movie. If you know P&P by heart, this will make you laugh out loud. And it wasn't predictable, I had no idea how it would end, right up until the end. If you're an Austen fan in search of a good chick flick, I recommend it. Angel
I watched this a little over a week ago while my kids were at my parents. My friends and I are Austen nuts ;) While my friends didn't like it, I thought it was pretty good!
Veritaserum
I enjoyed it. :)

Food4Thought
I like it! I enjoyed the modern humor, and thought it stayed fairly true to the story and characters. I can imagine that a total die-hard might not enjoy some of the liberties taken, but I thought it was a lot of fun!

To think that you might actually be able to get along with Lady Catherine... And Darcy in the pond, I totally laughed out loud. In my original post I wanted to say (but forgot) that I thought Hugh Bonneville was outstanding. I love him. :001_wub:
Mothersweets
I read your post this morning about this movie and my older daughters and I watched almost half of it tonight. Thank you! We are enjoying it very much. I agree, Hugh Bonneville is a fantastic Mr. Bennett! and the actor playing Mr. Collins...ewwww! They picked someone sufficiently creepy and even worse than the 1995 Mr. Collins, don't you think? JVA
I am actually in the middle of watching this, too! It is great. I didn't know it was a 4 part series- no wonder it's SO long...... The Mr. Collins character is uber creepy and Mr. Bennet is wonderful.
