meggie
My husband and I volunteered to put together a slideshow of my cousin's baby (he died less than 48 hours after he was born). Her friends and family got lots of pictures of her holding him after he was gone. The only song idea I have is Josh Groban's "To Where You Are." I had one other idea, but I was looking up the lyrics for the Josh Groban one and now I can't remember what it was! Are there any other songs or poems or scriptures or phrases that would work well in that kind of thing? I know it's kind of a downer of a post, but just the small amount I talked to her, I could tell it really meant a lot. Any suggestions welcome
thescrappyhomeschooler
I don't have any ideas, but just wanted to say sorry, and bump this up for more ideas. :grouphug:

Natalieclare
What about something classical? (this is probably such a bad suggestion that this post is really more of a bump)
Mosaicmind
What about Sara Maclaughlin's song, "in the Arms of an Angel"
Melinda in VT
Have you heard "Slumber My Darling" by Alison Krauss? The lyrics are here. Is your cousin LDS? "Families Can Be Together Forever" would be good if they have been sealed.
NotSoObvious
I did this for my friend's baby girl who died at 6 months old. One of the songs I used was Baby of Mine. She also wanted All The Pretty Little Horses. I can't think of the others, but if I do I'll post them.

thescrappyhomeschooler
Have you ever heard by Celine Dion? I am so sorry for the loss in your family. I love that song, but like most of her songs, I think it sounds better in . Probably wouldn't work for this situation, though.
sassenach
Are they Christian? If so, Be Still My Soul, the Ginny Owens version is beautiful. It's like a lullaby.
