Cindy in C-ville
Leaving the boxes behind for a week of summer bliss! Actually, I do have one project that I'm finishing up from my afterschool job last year - writing curriculum for a 16-week unit for the enrichment block of the program. But, that's fun. We'll be at Indian Beach on the NC coast. Anyone else there this week?
Heather in Neverland
We leave in about 6 hours to go to the Perhentian Islands for a quick vacation before school starts. I can't wait!!!

Ria
I'm just hanging out by the pool when I'm not working. We will be going up to Canada later this summer to pick up the three younger boys (wilderness canoe trips up there). Ria

Denisemomof4
beach days are day trips for us. We never go for a week. Dh normally works 4 days per week in August and we take one day per week to go to the beach, WEEKDAY, at beaches that aren't overly crowded. I love summer and look forward to it's end every year. ;)
stephanier.1765
We just got back from a day at the beach where it rained and even thundered and lightening for a bit. It's funny how I just didn't care. During the worst part we hung out in a pavilion, ate some food and generally had a good time just being together. The rest of the time we spent on the sand and in the water. I love the beach. It's in my blood.
Crissy
No vacation this week. My husband is headed to Panama and then Houston with our soccer team, so I'll be holding the fort. We did just have a great day at a little private lake yesterday, though. I'm relaxed, refreshed and ready to get back to school and work.
