Michelle My Bell
I cut apart an ABC poster (from All About Reading) and would like to mount the letters on my wall in a row. Tape always seems to lose its stickiness. What do you use to hang posters and such? (Links to Amazon would be great!)
Brenda in FL
I bought Mavalus tape after reading the rave reviews here. So far it's working - but you do have to do this spiral twist thing when hanging stuff. (They demonstrate it on their website). Do a search here, if you want to learn more. Unfortunately, there's no tag for mavalus yet - but there will be in a minute! Edited July 19, 2011 by Brenda in FL
PIE!
3m command strips. they come in all sorts of varieties and are sold just about everywhere. They've always worked amazingly well for everything I've ever needed to hang. here are amazon links for poster and picture hanging strips. http://www.amazon.com/Command-17204-Medium-Picture-Hanging-Strips/dp/B000M3YGOQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1311042894&sr=8-1 or http://www.amazon.com/3M-Command-Poster-Adhesive-Strip/dp/B001KYSAN4/ref=sr_1_1?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1311043002&sr=1-
Denise in Florida
We always used plasta-tac or some equivalent. It looks and feels like silly putty but works well to hang light things (posters, charts, etc) on walls. The putty stays soft and can be reused and doesn't leave a mark on most walls. OrganicAnn
We use the blue tape that you use to tape off your wall for painting. It is made to not ruin the walls.
Satori
3M Command Strips! We have textured walls and it's the only thing that will hold to our wall and not fall down. When I do want to take things down, it comes off cleanly. I did buy some Mavalus tape but the Command Strips do the job so well.

You do need to learn how to pull the tape, hold the end, drop the roll and spin it (the roll end). This makes a "tube" of tape. They have a video on the manufactures website. This tape is unbelievably good! Bill
