DawnM
I have a half price offer from Amazon to get Amazon Prime for streaming for $39/year. I already have it for shipping for free, but to add the streaming I would need to pay. Would it be worth $3.25/mo for watching? We already have HuluPlus and Netflix. Would Amazon increase my options? JudyJudyJudy
Is there a way to see a list of available videos before signing up?
DawnM
Yes, there is. I just thought there are so many on here who have used it and Netflix and might be able to give me thoughts and the rundown before I spend a bunch of time looking. I have HEARD that it isn't that great and the selection is very limited but thought I would ask. Dawn

Emmy
My husband spent time looking at it today, the selection is pretty poor. I would not spend extra for it.

happyhappyjoyjoy
The only thing I miss is Mr. Rogers. My kids loved watching that show, and it had a very calming affect on our house. Other than that I didn't see anything worth paying for. Edited July 13, 2011 by happyhappyjoyjoy
Lady Florida.
Netflix has better choices, however, Amazon seems to have a big selection of British shows if those interest you. We have Prime anyway, but I'm not sure we'd get it just for videos. Also, not all videos are free for Prime members.
mom2abcd
Netflix is increasing their prices yet again. It had been $7.99/month for one dvd at a time and unlimited streaming. Recently they raised the price to $9.99/month for that. Now they are going to charge $7.99/month for one dvd at a time AND $7.99 for unlimited streaming. If you want both, there is no price break. We will get only the streaming. I am interested in other options, too. I have heard that amazon may soon increase their choices. I imagine there may be more interest now that Netflix is going to be so pricey. DawnM
Does Amazon prime offer an instant queue? I am finding it very cumbersome to sift through. Dawn
