amyinva
My 17yo has read Napolean's Buttons and The Disappearing Spoon until they are tattered. What else can I get for him? He loves all things science, but Chemistry especially. thank you!

tofugirl101
@OP- Was the 'Disappearing Spoon' a good supplement for Chemistry?
Guest
You could take a look at these: Periodic Tales: A Cultural History of the Elements, from Arsenic to Zinc, by Hugh Aldersey-Williams Color: The Natural History of a Palette, by Victoria Finley Cooking For Geeks, by Jeff Potter The Age of Wonder, by Richard Holmes (I assume he's read Billy Bryson's Short History of Everything?) Guest
The Elements, by Theodore Gray (Grey? Not sure) It's a must have for chemistry fans. And this fall he's publishing a new edition that is apparently coming packaged with samples of some elements and other little goodies that you can take out to mess with. You can pre-order on amazon.
