Alenee
We're about to begin a trial run of gluten-free eating and the one thing I feel I want to replace right away is bread for sandwiches. Any TASTY recipes?
Food4Thought
Here's one I used to get use through the early phase of still needing sandwiches: http://glutenfree.wordpress.com/2007/07/18/gf-wrap-sandwich-success/ It's kind of like a pita bread, but still great for sandwiches. You can make fantastic wraps with it if you spread it a little thinner in the pan.
Grover
I'll second, third and fourth that recipe, it's the best I've found.

LaxMom
I haven't found a recipe that I love yet (will have to try that one next). In the meantime, Udi's makes really good GF breads. I'm particularly fond of their burger buns and hotdog rolls.
Maria from IN
http://www.freshglutenfree.net/Default.asp?Redirected=Y The Silly Yak Bakery sells a mix that is wonderful! Best I've tried yet.
KuniMom
This is the best recipe that I have found. I usually use Garbanzo bean flour and whatever else I have on hand. http://gfrealfood.com/2010/01/15/kims-whole-grain-gf-df-bread-simplified-version/

I could not believe how "normal" the texture of their bread is and it's not crumbly like other GF breads.
PuddleJumper1
If you don't mind baking Pamela's mixes are the best. My gf guys LOVE the bread mix. Over the last 8 years we've tried a lot of breads and my celiac son tells me this is the closest he's had to 'real' bread. Their other mixes are very good as well. For a ready made bread Udi's is very good as well. Love the look of the wrap recipe. My son will be thrilled. He's always looking for something new. If you're in an area that doesn't carry any of these, Amazon sells them in bulk. Udi also has a sight, where you can get their breads in bulk as well. Mama Geek
http://www.totaldiscountvitamins.com/product/18117?r=df-Pricegrabber This is one that works pretty well, the only problem is once it gets dried out after a couple of days it is pretty bad. That is a problem with most GF breads IMO. I have seen this carried in many grocery stores.
Ellesmere
When we go GF, I use King Arthur Flour's bread machine mix. They have a recipe, too. I've used Gluten-Free Pantry's, too. I know there is a recipe in Easy Gluten-Free Baking by Elizabeth Barbone. My GF friend says it is good but I haven't tried it. I have used other recipes in the book and they are good, though.
