5KidzRUs
I have an appt with a beautician (to get hair colored and highlighted) first thing when the salon opens tomorrow morning. However, this weekend while the salon was closed, several neighbors told me they never trust that salon and individually they all (three) told me they use a wonderful woman a few miles away. It would be rude to cancel at 10 AM when the shop opens, when my appt is at 10 AM, right? Should I just suck it up and go - if I don't like what she does just reschedule in two weeks with the other recommended stylist? WWYD? love2read
I would call and leave a message on her machine. Who wants to take a chance with something like that.

WishboneDawn
Yes, I suppose it would be rude but you've still got every right to take your business elsewhere if you choose. It IS a business afterall. I would call and tell them I won't be in.

Mosaicmind
Why would you go with the intention of spending more money in 2 weeks because she may or may not do a good job? I guess if I felt uneasy I wouldn't let anyone touch my hair.
Mommy22alyns
Nope, I'd cancel. Sorry if it's a little rude, but it's your hair!
