Hedgehog
My delightful neighbours are all out in their yard, making a racket. Even the 6yo is out.. the loudest of the lot. :glare: This wouldn't be so bad if it weren't 11:30pm.
Susan C.
Are there noise ordinances in your neighborhood? We endured six years in an apartment and were extremely sleep deprived. They didn't enforce their own noise ordinances.

After having a loud party, he and 4-5 full grown adult male friends were out in the yard, YELLING at the top of their lungs, "arrriba, Ole, Aye-AYE-Aye....) I am guessing a certain team won a game. It was after midnight. After 10 minutes, I had had enough. We had a chat then the police visited him.
Hedgehog
Are there noise ordinances in your neighborhood? Probably.. I don't know. We usually put up with it. Trouble is, they get noisy when the adults and teens have drunk overmuch, and we're not keen to approach a bunch of rowdy drunks no matter where they are. We did call the police last year, but they took over an hour to get here, by which time they'd all gone inside. :001_huh:
kchara
Next time, tell the police that there are drunk teens, and I bet they come a LOT quicker. Sorry you've got to deal with that. :(
Plucky
I love those noise machines. We keep ours set on bubbling stream or rain. Fans work well, too. If none of that works, then I call the cops. :)

Koerarmoca
This is our first week in the new house and I am finding that I miss my little house in the woods. I keep hearing cars and people talking outside I am so not used to it at all.
