sdWTMer
What is this? ;) Agave Nectar is like honey. It comes from the agave plant. It is yummy. It also has a low glycemic index. HTH

HTH Oh so do you use it in place of honey? That is very interesting, I thought I was going to be told it is some kind of juice.

Suzanne in ABQ
You can get it at Trader Joe's, if you have one. Check your health food stores, too. I think they carry it. I like it better than honey.
Colleen
I sometimes use agave nectar in baked goods. Just used it earlier today in cookies, in fact. I'll substitute it for up to 25% of sugar called for in a recipe. I really like it, but it costs an arm and a leg so I use it sparingly. Arch at Home
We use it in lieu of corn syrup or honey. Shoot, my youngest who is allergic to tomatoes uses it as a dipping sauce.
~Tara~
Sweeter tasting than honey. I don't like the taste of honey but Agave nectar? Ooo baby! Dissolves quickly in liquids too..even cold ones, like the lemonade mentioned above ;)
