prairiewindmomma
I have the mid-winter blahs, and I would love to refresh my soul. Do you have any great book or audio recommendations?
jelbe5
If you are at all interested in the Charlotte Mason method you may enjoy "Pocketful of Pinecones" by Karen Andreola
anneofalamo
I usually just drive by the school at the end and watch the kids coming out, and the craziness, and then I can get back into homeschooling. I do this about every 4 months :tongue_smilie: I can't do it in the morning, too tempting to drop mine off! ha ha ha

FriedClams
I LOVE the ones from Sono Harris: One set - Be Not Weary In Well Doing - contains 3 messages - Biblical Priorities for the Home Schooling Mother, Seasons of a Mother's Life and Parenting From the Inside Out A second set - A Joyful Mother of Children - contains 3 messages - Slowing Down the Speed of Life, Tying Strings to Your Child's Heart, and The Sacrifices of Motherhood and Victoria Botkin: Curriculum Advice, Vol. 1 - First 15 minutes is "why" to homeschool, so you can listen once or just skip that part - it's aimed mainly at the dads. AND Curriculum Advice, Vol. 2 - mainly for grades 3 or 4 and up. Very CC. Love them. Listen to them while folding laundry when I need a little pep talk.
