Education Explorers Posted May 6, 2011 Share Posted May 6, 2011 We are brand new to HS too. Our kids are still enrolled and are finishing out the school year before we start. I live on the line between Lawrenceville and Suwanee (Collins Hill HS). I am very interested in learning about some of the local groups. My rising 5th grade daughter is distraught about the idea of leaving her school friends. She is excited about HS in general but very worried about making friends. Ahh, the drama of a pre-teen. I know it is normal and would love to have some contacts in place to make her feel more secure before we start this new adventure. Thanks for any input you can share with me.
