I guess hand size is an issue? Now that kids are on the computer so young it seems, what age do you think is good for actually teaching keyboarding? Cindyz Posted February 10, 2011 Share Posted February 10, 2011 My son started at 5. He's 6.3 and types very well at this point. The only thing holding him back is writing/spelling. Thinking of what to type and how to spell it. He does all of his spelling quizes on the computer and I sometimes have him type out his memorization work.
