sparrow
We all have them. We watched the Liam Neeson film Taken a little while back. I told my DD if she were ever to get into a situation like that she may as well go along with it because neither DH nor I have Liam's particular set of skills and no passports. Hmmmmm....maybe that's why I have no international intrigue in my life. Would getting a passport open the doors for espionage and cloak and dagger experiences?? This hasn't happened for us yet, despite having passports. What did I do wrong? (Secretly, I'd be happy if my passport just opened doors for Liam Neeson. shhhhh....):D
LibraryLover
According to the web site when I filled out forms to renew my three youngest kids' passports on Monday, 4-6 weeks. That's about right. We've never waited beyond 6 weeks. My oldest renewed his in 2010, and it took a bit less than that.
Lawana
Mine is expired. Got it before a trip to India. Used a birth certificate to travel to Jamaica when my stepdaughter was married. Dh keeps his current because on occasion he travels internationally on business. Dd will get one before her choir travels to England. In my circle of acquaintances, only those that actually travel internationally have passports.
