Kathleen in VA
I just think this is an interesting/cool commentary on how the idea of homeschooling has become fairly mainstream: http://www.fredericksburg.com/Homes/detail?list_numb=SP7518980&prevList=http://www.fredericksburg.com/Homes/Listings?skey=LIST_PRICE&rkey=LIST_PRICE&nl=1&query_start=11 You have to scroll down to the "Agent comments." i.love.lucy
That's neat! Pretty house too. That's our dream. *sigh* A little land, lots of trees, quaint and pretty house. I guess that's almost everyone's dream too. Would have liked to see the interior. :)

But overall it is a very nice house. I wish I could afford it, too. I love the Williamsburgy way it looks.
jenL
I've actually seen a couple of real estate listings in my area that state "homeschool friendly lay-out/home" in the description of the living space. I always smile when I see it. Of course, they are homes we could never afford!
meena
We recently bought a house from a family who also homeschools. The MLS listing mentioned how the family had utilized some of the spaces for a classroom. We liked the house already, but it was definitely appealing to see that they had used the house similar to how we would be using it.
DawnM
Our house had homeschooling listed as well. It said something like bonus room/homeschool room. We actually don't use that room as our hs room, but it was set up that way when we viewed it. Dawn
chiguirre
I wonder if that's the RE agent's polite way to avoid mentioning the reputation of the local schools (which weren't listed)?
Laurie4b
Pretty house--but that is some UGLY wallpaper! Good gracious! You are not kidding. Didn't the agent tell them anything about staging the house? Some kind of wild wallpaper in almost every room. Gorgeous property though and CHEAP for all the acreage and square footage. annlaura
That's neat! And nice house. I never saw HS mentioned when we were househunting 5 years ago. I wonder if I'd see it now in our area.
OnTheBrink
Lovely home! But you know, if I were in the market for a house, I'd pass on that one for the wallpaper alone. Taking down wallpaper is a nightmare and to have to take it down from every room? No thanks!
