PrairieAir
We use Suave shampoo on our dogs. The only dog shampoo we use is the whitening shampoo (after the Suave) for the Westie.
Mrs. Readsalot
This site looks very interesting http://ezinearticles.com/?Homemade-Dog-Shampoo---Natural-and-Healthy!&id=553743 I hope it helps!
JFSinIL
baby shampoo - even any shampoo, and rinse really, REALLY well, if she truly stinks!
Peggy in Va
When our dog was skunked we used a solution of liquid dish soap, hydrogen peroxide, and baking soda. It worked! If you don't have enough peroxide, I would think the dish soap and baking soda (to get the smell out) would work. HTH Peggy Peggy
Melanie in WI
We used Dawn dish soap followed by a vinegar rinse for our dog after a skunk. It worked.
Vida Winter
No problems at all. If the dog has sensitive skin it's going to be that way for most shampoos, even dog shampoos. If the dog is fine with doggie shampoo it should be fine with people shampoos. We also use conditioner on our dogs. :)

Cheryl in NM
I usually use baby shampoo so I can do her face without a problem, but I have used whatever shampoo is in the bathroom for years.
Tap
If you don't have any "tear free formula" just use a basic or natural shampoo. I would avoid anything medicated for dandruff. A little squirt of dish soap can work in a pinch but not around the eyes. You need to rinse especially well if they are a licker.
Serendipity
I was googling uses for Odoban and came across a recommendation for using Odoban on a dog that had been skunked.
