DaffodilDreams
Don't have it, but have been drooling over it each trip to BandN and Borders. Waiting for it to go on sale.
DaffodilDreams
P.S. If you don't have Harry Potter Film Wizardry, highly recommend it. Dd7 cannot put it down. Does have parts that one would hope would not be torn up, so caution against giving to a child who may not be super careful w/it. Dd got it for Christmas and now I want my own copy. 2cents
Ooooh! The cookbook looks good! They have it in Kindle too! Thanks! :D
dangermom
That looks fun--though I must say that I've always thought that pumpkin juice sounds VILE.
joannqn
Amazon was giving away the kindle version of a Christmas version of this book. The Christmas one was just a handful of basic recipes (ie. mashed potatoes, turkey) and a few sentences about where in the HP books that food was mentioned or might have been consumed as part of a feast. Based on that sample, I'm not excited about this one without being able to see inside it first.
Imprimis
Yes! I bought it for my 7 yo daughter for Christmas. We haven't made anything yet, but we are enjoying reading the "history" of each recipe and the recipes themselves. It's a fun book for Harry Potter fans. Socalmom
My DD (10) got the cookbook for Christmas. She is a huge HP fan and also loves to cook, so the book was a big hit. If your child is interested in cooking and recreating meals from the series, it would be fun. It is mostly recipes with a little bit of background info. The film wizardry book looks great! I added it to my wishlist. Margie
