Perry
We don't own a VCR player anymore. I don't know what to do with all these old kid movies. Goodwill doesn't want them. The library, which takes donations for sales, doesn't want them. I hate to just send them to the landfill. Know of any organizations that still take them? OLG
I'm in the same boat! I tried the local video rental place and nursery schools if that is of any help. If suitable, the church education programs might be interested. If you find a novel place, let me know!!! Mary

bluemongoose
Our Hospital Maternity Ward takes VHS or DVD donations for ladies and/or their family to watch while spending the time there. After getting stuck in the hospital after delivering on Christmas 2 years ago I can honestly say that I really appreciated those donated VHS movies! Some were kid movies, some were adult movies, it was a huge blessing!
runmiarun
Try your local hospital. Our local pediatrics ward was thrilled to have our VHS tapes. They haven't upgraded the tv's in the rooms so they still play VHS tapes. When we stayed for DS2's RSV treatments, the VHS tapes were a lifesaver! Plus, because they get used so much, they break faster than usual so replacements or extras are always a huge help.

springmama
I know that the children's psychiatric hospitals usually have nothing for the kids to do during free time. Book and movie donations are always appreciated. I've been to visit 3 of them locally. Two within major hospitals and one that was a stand alone psychiatric hospital. All of them could have used these.
