gaillardia
Yes, but it is just the beginning and may go on for many years, or not. Right there with ya, for about 4 years I've been having them. Sometimes they are frequent and intense, other times not so much. I have a little emotional problem right before it happens almost every time. "It's stupid, and I hate it," something I say when I'm asked what's wrong.:tongue_smilie: I am very late 40's, very late.
Bokons
I started having them around 39. I will be 41 in January, and haven't had my . for almost 6 months now. I did get a blood test last year that confirmed that I had started menopause already. Mine is called premature menopause since it started before 40. K-FL
Really?! It can start this soon?! If you can, check w/your mom, aunts and older sisters/cousins. It runs in families. I have a friend that was full blown menopause at 37.
Nestof3
My mom and grandmother were both my age -- when menopause came. My grandmother gave birth to eight children and died of leukemia at 38 (an age span of 25 years between the youngest and oldest). She had already entered menopause. jld
My sil was 38 when she gave birth to her daughter. They planned to have another within a year, and guess what? She couldn't get pregnant. She had started menopause, right after the birth.
sixglides
I'm right there with you. Hormones, YAZ specifically, took care of all the symptoms & makes me a much happier momma. Started at 38...
