Mama_Rana
Seeing a heartbeat is a REALLY ENCOURAGING sign. :grouphug: <3 Did she attempt to date the pregnancy by its size? What was the heartrate? Try to take it one day at a time. Early pregnancy is tricky for mama and baby.
AuntieM
Yaaaaaay! That is wonderful to hear! My twins (b/g) were 8 when baby sis came along. They *adore* her. So does her 16 year old brother (10 year gap). Everything will be fine! So really, stop worrying! Thanks for sharing your terrific news. Barb_
That's great news! Thank you for sharing, and STOP WORRYING! You have twins who will be 9 when this baby is born. That is such a blessing! By the time she's a preschooler, you'll have not one, but two big sister-auntie-babysitters. Just think, you could be asking what to do with a newborn and 14 month old twins ;) I would trade the former for the latter any day. Get some rest and enjoy your pregnancy. mariposa
I just had a baby and have an almost-9-year-old son and I can tell you it's so wonderful! Just seeing my son hold the baby made it all worth it - so much awe and love in his eyes. And seeing this baby just gaze up at his big brother. I'm imagining how cool it's going to be to have a big brother Who can drive when baby is that age. Enjoy!!
kwickimom
I have seven siblings ranging up to 17 years younger than I. We are all wonderful friends and the age gap means nothing. Congrats on the good news!
newlifemom
Glad to hear it. My dd's [now 4] did not double and she is fine. Like anything else, doubling is the average. Try to relax and enjoy that precious life growing inside you. Hard to do, but try. :grouphug:

Lolly
What wonderful news! I was about 9 when my little brother was born. I adored having him to play with. He was quite a doll for my sister and me!!!
