KidsHappen
We bought the youngest two very expensive pairs of athletic shoes because she has such a hard time finding comfortable shoes. Now she is having a meltdown because she has sock bumps. She has tried on at least ten different pairs and none of them worked for her. She is wearing a different pair of shoes today but she will have to wear athletic shoes for gym. Oh and by the way, is there something innately stressful about sixth grade. The 13 year old had an especially hard time with sixth grade and now the 11 year old seems to be having the same issues. I am beginning to think that perhaps it would be better if the sixth graders were still in elementary as they just don't seem quite mature enough for middle. Ottakee
You can check Hanna Andersson for some that might work. They are pricey but I have heard good things about them.

Cera
We had the best luck finding socks at target of all places. They have some wicking athletic socks that are very thin and silky with no obvious ridges that my picky child likes.

Vida Winter
Turn socks inside out to get rid of most of the bump. Good luck!
