On the Apologia web site, it says that USPS shipping will take a few weeks, so depending on what shipping option you are choosing you may be paying $40 more to get the book a few weeks earlier. The first chapter in available at the Apologia website for free download and is about different inventors. My suggestion would be to download the first chapter, read it together and spend the first month working on studying the different inventors and what they are reputed for. Mark you calendar for May 30, call Rainbow and CBD and see if they have it in stock. Then order from whoever has it the cheapest with expedited shipping. :auto: If you know someone who would loan you thier 1st edition copy for a few weeks that would be another option. :grouphug: Good luck! As of yesterday (4-8-08), however, they do not yet have the 2nd edition ... they are not sure when they will make the switch from 1st to 2nd edition.
